With reminiscences of Felix Gonzalez-Torres' beautiful, melancholic concept of supplying stacks of free posters, Free New Zealand Art brings together twelve newly produced works from leading New Zealand artists. All posters are made especially for Free New Zealand Art and are free to take home.

Free New Zealand Art is the farewell exhibition of Tobias Berger as ARTSPACE director. It reflects a very personal choice of New Zealand artists. The selection is as individual as the choice of posters each visitor will make.

The exhibition will be first shown at ARTSPACE and then travel to other public art galleries in Europe and Asia.
