In consideration of Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland returning to Alert Level One status, Artspace Aotearoa has a new date to celebrate the opening of three programmes running in our main gallery, the Cinema downstairs and on the East Street mural wall. We are delighted to welcome you on Friday 5 March from 6pm - 8pm for the official opening celebration.
There will be a soft opening of I Think You Like Me, But I’ve Been Wrong About These Things Before by Natasha Matila-Smith on Wednesday 24 February at 11am.
You are invited to join us for a blessing of the space that will be facilitated by Tūī Matira Ranapiri-Ransfield.
Manawa i te Kāniwha, a mural by Abigail Aroha Jensen and Georgina Watson is now finished and ready to view on the East Street side of the Artspace Aotearoa building.
From Friday 27 February 2021 we will be showing Un-Documented: Unlearning Imperial Plunder by Ariella Aïsha Azoulay in the downstairs Cinema.
