Artspace Welcomes Lachlan Taylor

Artspace Aotearoa are proud to announce Lachlan Taylor as the new Assistant Curator of Artspace NZ for 2019. The role evolved from the curatorial internship that ran for over ten years and is kindly supported by the Stout Trust. This position offers a clear curatorial development opportunity for a starting practitioner to work with the Artspace NZ team on the 2019 and 2020 programmes.

For the past seven months, Lachlan has worked as the first curatorial intern at Adam Art Gallery Te Pātaka Toi in Wellington. Lachlan is interested in the ways in which art writing and curatorial practice are tools for communication to bridge the spaces between practices and the communities that benefit from them.
