Action Replay Post - Script
In 1998, Artspace and the Govett-Brewster Art Gallery collaborated to produce Action replay, a series of five exhibitions critically re-evaluating a lost chapter in New Zealand art history - post object art of the 1970's. This publication was produced on the occasion of this exhibition series.
Action replay was exhibited at Artspace, Govett-Brewster Art Gallery, and Auckland Art Gallery Toi O Tamaki, and was curated by Christina Barton, Wystan Curnow, John Hurrell, Robert Leonard, and featured work by Jim Allen, Billy Apple, Bruce Barber, Mel Bochner, City Group, Betty Collins, Philip Dadson, Andrew Drummond, Adrian Hall, Terrence Handscomb, Christine Hellyar, Marre Horner, Darcy Lange, John Lethbridge, Annea Lockwood, Colin McCahon, Leon Narbey, Roger Peters, Pauline Rhodes, Peter Roche, Warren Viscoe.
