Health & Safety in the gallery with Luke Boyle
This lab offers a comprehensive introduction to best health and safety best practice within various arts sector settings.
Luke Boyle, technician and fabricator, will guide participants through the use of tools and machinery within a workshop environment, followed by a conversation about safety within an installation setting: the use of scaffolding, ladders, and the safe transportation of larger artworks.

The Health and Safety Skills Lab is suitable for technicians, artists and other arts workers who wish to better understand and manage site safety during the install period.
Biography
Luke Boyle is a maker and artist based in Tāmaki Makaurau. His practice spans visual arts, carpentry, spatial design and sound. He graduated from Auckland University with a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in 2015.
